After we were done with the exams and other project works, I and my friends made a plan to hangout at some fascinating destination. We were thinking of some cool destination to beat the summer heat in Delhi, so we chose Mussoorie as a hangout place. So we had booked our seats in AC 3 Tier in Mussoorie Express, train number 14041. We had reached the station Delhi Sarai Rohilla station in evening itself and we all set to enjoy a train journey after a long time. At 8.30 the train left Delhi and by 9 am next day, we were at the Dehradun railway station.

The moment we stepped out of the trains, we could feel the cool breeze and pretty surroundings of a small town, which is hard to see in metro cities. Our cab was already waiting for us outside, and we reached our hotel in Mussoorie in just 2 hours, which was a fantastic drive. .

We planned of a budget hotel and we came across a lot of options such as Jaypee Residency Manor, Surbee Resort, Cladridges Nabha Residence, The Golden Palms and many more. We were actually confused to choose one, but after checking out the rating, pictures, reviews, and knowing the facilities, we had begun shortlisting the 3 star hotels from the list and finally agreed upon one, which was The Golden Palms.

After we entered and had spent one full day in the hotel, we were glad on our decision. It was a unanimous decision, which proved to be the best one for the trip. It was safe for girls (as said in the reviews), and the pictures were also right (as seen on the portals). So, it means that the popular travel portals for booking hotels can be trusted.

The next day we were all set to explore the hill station, the hotel staff were kind enough and helped us in booking a cab and in guiding about the best places. We have been to many places here, but the most we liked were: Lal Tibba, Kempty Falls, and Mussoorie Christ Church.

These have been the best places in Mussoorie, we enjoyed checking them out, we had taken pictures (or rather selfies), and enjoyed ourselves to the maximum. It would have not been possible without the help from travel portals.
