Exploring Ahmedabad- A Trip to Enjoy Wedding and Food
I hardly get time to visit any of my relative’s places due to the hectic schedule. This time, all my cousins were going to gather in Ahmedabad to attend a cousin's wedding. So, I had made my mind attend the wedding and have fun with my cousin gang. I emailed my boss for approval of holiday and thankfully, I received a positive reply.
I immediately booked my ticket to Ahmedabad from Surat. Even though Surat to Ahmedabad trains are scheduled at regular intervals, I booked my tickets in Hapa Intercity (29059). I usually prefer traveling in second seating for short distances. The train was scheduled at 1:30 pm from Surat station. The train reached Ahmedabad junction at around 5:30 pm.

As soon as I got down at the Ahmedabad station, I got into an auto-rickshaw and headed towards my pre-booked hotel which was located just 1.5 km from the station
My Experience in Budget Hotel- The Cloud Hotel, Ahmedabad:
I had booked my room in the economic hotel. The hotel offers 61 rooms and 7suites. I chose a deluxe room for my stay. The room was bright and spacious. It was tastefully decorated and was fully-furnished. I utilized the free high-speed Wi-Fi to upload my pictures from the wedding celebration on the social media. The room had a comfortable bed and clean linens which were very inviting. The bathroom and accessories were clean.

Whenever I used to reach the hotel early after attending the various marriage ceremonies, I used to sit back and relax in front of the television, as I hardly get time to watch the serials in my routine life.
This hotel is perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The room had all contemporary comforts and facilities. The staff is very professional and always on toes to help each and every guest. I loved the hospitality part of this hotel. The restaurant served delicious food on the table. I enjoyed a cup of coffee from the coffee shop as well.

Enjoyed The Sumptuous Delicacy:
After eating too much in the wedding, I was craving for a special Gujarati cuisine known as undhiyu. It is a mixed vegetable dish and is a seasonal one. It comprises of the various vegetables that are available during the winter season. These vegetables are spiced up with a dry curry paste. The vegetable and spices are slow-cooked for a long time till the vegetables are crunchy and dry.

I ordered it from the in-house restaurant and the chef had cooked the authentic recipe. I loved the delicious flavors and perfectly cooked vegetables.
I had a comfortable journey from Surat to Ahmedabad and I enjoyed my cousin’s wedding. Also, I enjoyed the delicious special cuisine from the in-house restaurant.
